I've just replaced my hardrive with a Western Digital 80G drive. When I went to boot up after formating the drive I receive a "NTLDR is missing" DOS message. Does anyone know what this means and how to rectify the situation?

Your pearls of wisdom are greatly appreciated.

Walt

Did you install an operating system to it? Were you using ghost or something?

Check your hard drive boot order in the bios.

No, I have not yet installed an operating system to it. I used ghost to back up my old drive (which is failing). I installed the tools that came with the new WD drive and when it went to restart it began giving me the NTLDR is missing message.
