Monitor and color

I noticed that the picture on my viewsonic p225f monitor has a green look to it. Is this normal for crt's... I am unsure because I have never noticed it before until I got my laptop and my eyes adjusted to the colors of a LCD screen. Anyway.. any input on a way I can make sure the colors that I see on my monitor are calibrated properly so that their is no more greenish tint. (calibration ect)

Make sure that you cables are plugged in good. Seriously.

Disconnect it from your comp, and replug it. Check the connection at the back of the monitor as well.

this greenish color happens in 9300k viewmatch color...(the lower numbers should be bad so I wont mention those). I made my own user config which gets rid of that greenish tint... I dont know if the color is normal though for a crt or if its because I have grown used to the color on the LCD

No, it's not normal unless the CRT is dying.

I am going to contact viewsonic then.. see how mucha replacement cable is. If this does not work I will just exhange the monitor =(
