Hello.

I have two computers networked using XP Home and all was well until I upgraded the ICS Host to XP Pro (the client is still running XP Home). Now, the host can access the Internet (through a cable modem), but the client cannot. With both systems using XP Home, Internet access was possible on both machines (through the host).

The network otherwise is working fine. The host can access the client (and vice versa). The only thing I cannot do is to access the Internet from the client system.

Any ideas?

Thx

Although, it is not required to use the ICS Wizard, it does save an end-user a lot of grief. Have you tried using the ICS Wizard again after you upgraded your ICS host to XP Pro? It is, most certainly possible to share the internet connection between these two machines. Chances are, the connection share was tweaked against the "rules" that the original ICS used when the host was upgraded.
