My computer's boot Hard Drive is a SATA Seagate. When I tried installing an 80 gig WD IDE as a secondary storage drive (set as cable select and on Slave attachment on ribbon cable) the computer wouldn't go to Windows, but would say NTLDR is Missing.

How do I get my comp to start up w/ the SATA drive and use the second HDD as a storage drive? On my other comp I did it with 2 IDE drives and it was no problem.
Thanks much!

What's on your IDE hard drive?

Sounds like windows wrote some windows file's when it was a slave under windows.

Go into your bios (delete key upon booting most likely) and set your SATA drive as the primary boot

There's no way for me to set my SATA drive as the primary boot. The only option is "Hard Disk."
My primary is floppy, secondary is hard disk.
