OP OP D desiboi Daemon Poster Messages 1,362 May 22, 2005 #3 Socket 370 FC-PGA 2. Intel Celery processor, got the fan off. There's this bracket. I googled it and saw that soem people used a hair dryer to turn the thermal thingy into goo and used a flat blade to remove the heatsink.

SHAWN Field Engineer Messages 4,695 Location Long Island, NY May 22, 2005 #4 use a small flat head screw driver and push down then pull away from the clamp. Its hard to explain.
