I have been having my emails diverted to about 30 folders for two years with no problems. Recently when I try to set up a new rule to divert to a folder I am told: "this rule could not be created. Check your folder permissions." The help topics discuss Outlook folder permissions but do not explain how to locate - it just refers to MS Exchange. I tried deleting all my rules to start over but now I get that message for all the rules I try to set up using "Organize."

Help??

Well basiclly, Outlook 2000 is extremely intwined with Exchange, But i have had your same problem, here is what i ahd to do.

Well my case i had to set it up because the junk mail filter is crap. I had to set up a new folder for my personal mail, and add all senders that i know to a distribution list, and have that list's sent to the new foldeer and have the junk mail pile up ion my inbox :( i know its nothing goosd, but you could set it up like that
