I have just upgraded from cheapo ram to some Corsair Value ram (512 x2). I chose the value ram as i do not plan on overclocking or anything.

I dont really have a clue when it comes to timing... are these any good?

timings don't affect performance

well they DO, but it's so small that it's almost like none

anyways, the twinMOS ram woulda been better than the corsair, but nevertheless corsair has decent timings compared to other crap value ram (such as kingston and geil)

they are valueRAM timings :D don't know what more info you want besides that, buuut the only timings that really effect performance is the middle numbers, ras to cas and ras precharge, if those numbers were 2 instead of 3 I'd be like....a whole 20mb/sec extra bandwidth on a socket A system, and probably maybe 50mb/sec+ on an AMD64 system, which may sound like a lot, but you would never notice it.

High performance RAM with the tight timings is only good for overclocking and/or 'Hey look I got money so I got this RAM' and they basically spent $100+ more for unnoticeable performance.
