Prices of 64-bit

From what all you guys have seen online would it be much more expensive to get a 64-bit motherboard and processor then an amd athlon xp 3200+ and motherboard. I know the 64-bit comes in many flavors but something that i would say is comparable to the 3200+. Thanks

Also, what is the difference between Venice, and Newcastle and Winchester on all the AMD 64 processors? If there is a difference which one is better?

Newcastle = worst 130 nm technology (?)
Winchester=good 90 nm technology

Hey that sounds like a good deal. You see I am a computer tech, but I am learning new stuff every day!! Iw as gonna build one with an Athlon XP 3200+ (budgeting constraints) but then I saw that it definitely wouldn't be that expensive to make the jump to 64-bit!

I'm waiting for all the support, software wise, to come out for the 64-bit technology and the dual cores.
