Mini ATX setup

My first mobo was a FOXCONN MicroATX. Very nice for simplicity and ease of setup. And since it did have onboard video. you can just go into the BIOS setup and disable it. Same if you want to go with PCI slot sound card as well... truthfully though, most cases will handle micro AND regular ATX mobos. if you plan on wanting to include different cards into the system, 3 PCI slots may not be enough. And truth be told... there really isn't THAT much of a difference size once the case is involved. Would you settle for 3 PCI slots if you can get 5 that will go into the same case? :) Your call... Just givin my 1 cent worth.

My system is a micro. No problems here.

Right now, all of my PCI slots are open. I removed the modem, well, I had a reason at the time, but I forget. My graphics card is AGP. I am using onboard sound. So I have three empty PCIs.

Using a micro is just up to personal choice.

Oh, and Nukem, there's no way you could put an ATX board in my case, as it is a micro case as well. Besides, the smaller cases are really cool.
