Macintosh Ram

Hi there,

I do not use Macs

But I have a question- is MAC ram the same as PC ram?

I checked one of the G4's that I need to put more in to and it currently has PC2700 ram- it is Samsung ram- the sticker says "PC2700U-25330-B2 M368L6423 DTM-CB3 512MB DDR PC2700 CL2.5"

Another G4 has Samsung ram, presumably PC133, but the similar model number sticker of "PC133U" is the U relavent?

RAM is platform independent. You can use the same stick of RAM in your PC and your Mac with no problems. Just put it in like normal and it will run flawlessly.
