Samsung Monitors

I have this same monitor. No problems and no defect shipments that I am aware off but that could most likely be your problem. They received a defective batch. Says something about Samsung quality assurance if this is true considering most Japanese companies I believe use 6 Sigma quality systems. But Samsung is a Korean company I believe. Anyways, a defective batch is inexcusable.

Be glad that you didnt order over the net, as most companies won't accept a return if the dead pixels are not in a cluster or over a certain amount or a number of other things. Just so you know, Samsung is the only manufactor that offers a no dead pixel warranty. Keep carrying them back until you get one that you can live with. Oh yea, Samsung is considered top tier in the LCD business. I do love mine, of course it doesn't have any dead pixels. Manufactors are claiming that LCD panels are too expensive to make with a perfect panel gurantee. There was a recent article in PC World on this very subject.
