I want to create a bootable cd with all of the WINXP files as well as a few new folders of drivers and such.

I copied my WINXP disc to my hard drive and put all the files onto ther nero burnlist as well as the few others i wanted on. I thought this would be the same as a regular WINXP PRO disc, as in it would be the same when i tried to start from it off reboot.. but it doesn't recognize it as bootable. Thus my logic must be flawed.

Why doesn't it boot, and how could i personalize my xp cd so that everything i need is on one bootable cd/dvd?

You need to either make an image of your OS with all the files, folders, settings, and programs on there using Norton Ghost or something similiar or you can slipstream SP2 into XP. What would you like to do?

I simply want to have my drivers and stuff like openoffice on the same cd as my windows XP disc, so right after install i can get everything installed quickly.
