firefox icon wierd

I just installed over firefox 1.03.0 to 1.04.0 after the install three firefox icons came on the desktop.Then i said to my self no big delete it wont let me i go to properties on all three icons it says invalid shortcut.I get a little pissed becouse i think I have these things stuck on my desktop
any time I click on them then they turn opaue and it looks like a firefox watermark on my desktop.On my last attemted click all three icons like move to where my original icon was and now there is one working icon where the three merged.Was this an hicup or should I do something.

i just realized i put this thing in the wrong section thought I clicked on software.I guess it is becouse i am distracted with my mom wanting help with something i am not good at multitasking.Sorry.
