I want to upgrade my monitor from a Syncmaster 152n 15" LCD monitor to something with a bigger screen and obviously good resolution. I like the LCD's for the space they save. Whats the best choices for monitors without spending tons of $?
 
I don't know a whole lot about LCD monitors or what your budget is but I can tell you I have a 17" Samsung SyncMaster 710T and I like it.
 
I just bought an LG Flatron L1715S after upgrading from my old 15" TFT...

Im very pleased with it.

Are you a gamer? If so and a serious one, let me recommend something a little out of you budget but, kicks major @zz...

This is the monitor that I bought about 2 months ago... It's roughly $429.00 at newegg.com (This monitor is unbelievable for gaming...) DVD's are incredible too... MAX RES this thing all you want... "The DOWN SIDE - It's HUGE!!!"

I've heard alot of good things about Samsung monitors, I got a couple friends that love them.
