Is it worthwhile to buy this laptop? A co-worker is selling this below. He has upgraded to the Pentium 4. Can anyone give me some suggestions on decent laptops. I like to game and burn music cds more than anything else. I'm looking into going wireless, so a portable laptop would be great.

Thanks

you can do much better. check out dell during one of their $750 off sales. just a few days ago they had a 35% off sale with their laptops.

Very cool advice. Thanks for the advice. Good thing you pointed out what the condition of the battery would be like.

Thanks

Yeah, I sold my laptop for 600 bucks, it had the same specs. I thought that I made some money off it ;) Anyways, I would go with hp if you were going with a new one

My co-worker upgraded from a Celeron to the P4 in the laptop now. Anyway, with the price he has asked for, I've decided to do some more research for a good laptop. Thanks everyone...
