Is the PX6600GT TDH extreme version, just the PX6600GT overclocked? It looks like thats all it is

Yeah generally that's all 'extreme' means in most any graphics card.

You'd be fine with the regular and just do it yourself.

Yup i just bought me a Leadtek 6600GT from being recommended it on this site...

Im impressed. It does run at 37 degrees idle but i dont know how to overclock

you knew how to unlock the temp censor through updating bios but u don't know how to overclock ????

I didnt have to unlock any temp sensor I just go to desktop properties --> Settins -->advanced --> Geforce 6600GT --> Temp settings...

use a program called Rivatuner

some, not all 6600GT's have the temp sensor disabled which requires doing a little editing of the cards BIOS, that's why VIII said it
