Amps for a 6800gt?

I just read that it requires 25 amps on the 12v rail...is that true?

.........where the hell did you read that? that's not anywhere near true dude.....


My PSU only has 22a on the +12v rail and I have 2 HD's, 2 optical drives, an OC'd CPU, 1gb of RAM and a 6800GT OC'd...


EDIT: BTW nvidia suggests nothing less than like, 350w PSU I believe, but that doesn't mean all of those watts goes to the 6800GT....25a of a +12v rail would be 300w....the card only needs like.....125 or so to run

On a 420 Watt Thermaltake at 18AMPS @ 12 volts
2 7200RPM Hard drives
2 Optical Drivs
6600GT (Eats as much if not more than a 6800GT)
11 Fans including 1x 120mm running off of it

And a very highly OC'ed CPU but that's another rail
