Pc wont start just dfi lanparty logo

Hi my Pc been working ok for last 2 weeks done nothing different closed it down last night ,wont start up now just dfi lanparty logo on screen,
Wont even let me go into bios on start up
spec as follows
DFI lanparty NF4 sli-dr
1024mb mushkin pc4400 memory
1x 74gb Raptor 10,000 rpm seriel ata
2x 250gb hitachi 7200 rpm 8mb seriel ata
1x 400gb hitachi 7200 rpm 8mb seriel ata
2x gigabyte 6600gt nvidia pci express graphics cards
any one got any ideas please

Do you have SLi enabled? Try to boot it with only one card, non SLi.
 
are those value ram?

btw, does ddr2 fit in ddr slots? :D

don't tell me they're ddr2 ram ..

do you have any drives such as USB that have a flash drive in them? when my flash drive is plugged in when i try to start up it just gives me the lanparty screen also. try unplugging everything except the necessities (monitor, keyboard, etc) and see if that works.
 
done all that,got into bios now
message comes up
windows root>\system32\hal.dll
please reinstall a copy of the above file
 
Yeah, i've seen that before... That's a corrupt windows DLL file. There is actually a way to rewrite the script in DOS. I think MS has it on their website. Although it's a pain in the ass and time consuming... Probably easier to reformat or reinstall..

I uninstall a bunch of spyware one day with the spywares own uninstallers. Well, these freakin' uninstallers "SHARE" important windows DLL files. When I uninstalled the spyware, it also corrupted the windows DLL files... It really sucked... I had to go through a 24 step process to reinstall those DLL files...

Boy was I pissed...
