New Egg, Gateway to come to UK

Market getting crowded again

SOURCES SAID retailer New Egg, big in the US, is to set up shop in the United Kingdom.

It already has a presence in France, but the date for the move to sell kit to UK consumers isn't yet known.

And it appears that Gateway (Emachines) is also to set up shop again in the UK, and possibly Europe.

Again, a date for the launch isn't known.

Sounds like good news is coming to those on the other side of the pond... eventually.

Well newegg.ca has been registered so i hope it was them doing it and not some one else using that name

A partial query of their registration below. They never replied to my email. Maybe my title itself turned them off when I mentioned Canada :-\.. Could still be a prank. Will be kinnda stupid tho..

Guess we have to live with tigerdirect's BS and ncix's always changing prices.

Yeah man. Too bad. At least ncix seems to have "somewhat" of a flavor of newegg. Better than nothing.. :-\ Don't even mention tigerdirect. The only good thing about them is that I couldn't find anyone else that carry the Razer diamondback.
