Hello all,
I reformatted my firends laptop HDD and reinstalled Windows XP. Now that XP is installed, I get an OS boot menu at startup. When the computer boots, it asks me which OS I want to load, but BOTH choices are Windows XP.
I checked the hard drive and there's only one partition and one installation of Win XP.
During the reinstall I deleted the existing partition and created a new one, then formatted it with NTFS.
So...ONE partition, ONE WIN XP install, but TWO OS choices at boot up, both of which are WINDOWS XP.
What am I missing?
