Will this graphics card work with this Motherboard???

Why spend the money on an 8x AGP if your only going to use 4x? I'm pretty sure it will work, but if you can find a 4x then I'd buy that.
 
It will work, and I suggest spending the extra for the 6600GT as it's like 20$ more expensive and almost doubble the speed.

But your most likely going to be bottlenecked by your CPU \ RAM \ MOBO since any AGP4x board is oldskool.
 
I want to buy an 8x because I eventually plan to upgrade my mobo...

but I am glad to hear that it will work...

do u think I wil be able to play doom3, star wars, ect...

newer games???

my processor is an amd athlon xp 2000+ overclocked to 2Gigs (2600+)

and I have 512 megs of ram...

Not virtually unnoticable, actually unnoticeable with tests done with a 6600GT
 
Yeah I would buy the 6600gt and then upgrade later. As a matter of fact thats exactly what i did .. I was running some old p4 1.7ghz with a 4x motherboard and bought the 6600 gt and upgraded to a 64 3200 with agp 8x. It did not work too bad with UT2004 and DOOM3. I had to have the settings on medium for doom but none the less it was playable.
