Help!!! Unallocated space!!!

Be specific. Do you have unallocated hard drive space? Is it on your C Drive? If so then no it is not possible unless you format which obviously means all your stuff is gone. You will have to change the partition. You can activate and use the unused space.

I have a 40GB hard drive, only one hard drive (disk 0). I have:

PRESARIO (C:) (Healthy) (System) 13.68GB NTFS
PRESARIO_RP (D:) (Healthy) 6.61GB FAT32
Unallocated 16.98GB

How do I move the unallocated space to my C: drive? I'm not worried about losing all my data in the process; I can always download them again.

If you run XP Pro, you can convert the disk to a Dynamic Disk and expand the volume (partition).

Re:

Hello,

I'd get a partioning software, yep...such as PartitionMagic. It's a nifty program, very graphical and easy to use.
