Are you pretty set on a 17 then? I think the Viewsonics like that are beautiful, but aesthetics do mean something to me. Those response times are plenty.

I am really anxious to get one of those new Viewsonc vx924
I mean heck a 4ms repsonse time! That kicks ass.
I sold a 20.1 inch Viewsonic LCD that had a 16ms response
time about 6 months ago and got a 23inch NEC CRT
mainly because that 20.1 viewsonic was sweet, but
the ghosting was bad in games.

if you want a good monitor, get the Viewsonic VP series, it's like the best LCD ever, Crystal sharp and response time of 8ms, but costs a hella lot of money.. if you got it!
