Overclcok it crazy, make the CPU hot, then with rubber gloves, take the fan, heatsink, and CPU off. It's not going to be sticky since it's real hot.

Well all of the time for me I just apply a pound of force and my heatsink comes off

I know what's on my CPU's as well

I had the same problem with the Heatpad, What I done was got a credit card and placed it in the conor of the CPU and turned the card untill the card was about to snap and then the Processer popped off, but it does pop off too, so make sure you havn't got anything around it and soft ground

Should try taking the heatsink off of the older xbox's that thing was glued on lol.

I've never had any problems with stock thermal pads.. Its just a little harder to pull off.

Get one thats a little on the thick side and let it sit there for hundreds of thousands of hours.
