Which mobo to get.

I am thinking about upgrading my system to a Athlon 64.

I have heard alot of good reviews about the DFI lanparty boards.

I have found 3 boards from the lanparty range but i don't know too much about mobo's.

They are: DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra D
DFI Lanparty nF4 Sli-D
DFI Lanparty nF4 Sli-DR

Can anyone recommend which one would be the best and also a few differences between them.

Get SLI-DR if you want to run two graphics cards

Get Ultra-D in you want to run one

I would just go wit the SLi-DR and only use one card, simply because SLi will not be leaving anytime soon and its better to have the availability there to upgrade later on and not have to buy a whole new mobo.

drworm2005 are you buying your mobo online because i dont see dfi really available around in australia...well at least not in sydney

the DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra D & nF4 Sli-D are fairly similar boards, the only thing to me that makes the nF4 Sli-DR stand out is the dual raid which the other 2 dont have.

all things considered i dont really think there is a hell of alot in it unless you were planning on running sli or dual raid.

i'd go with the nF4 Sli-D, its the middle priced of the 3 and gives the option of sli in the future.

imo the major drawback of these boards is the awful colour scheme.

any1 seen these under UV? more than likely they look alot nicer
