6600GT may be overkill for him depending on his other system specs. Comming from a 9250, I honestly doubt he has the CPU and memory to do a 6600GT justice. Get 9600 pro, as they have suggested above.

Yeah, I have a celeron, which I know can't use the latest gfx cards well. Let me give you my dxdiag. On a side note, I have a compaq, and how easy is taking out a mobo and puttin a new one in? I mean you say its easy, but how easy is it relative to sloting in a pci card? BTW I don't know why it says I have a 9200 PRO. I don't think my drivers installed correctly, but it seemed to be the best fps giver after the downgrade of performance I had.
