wow...i don't get why you are wasting so much money on that crappy 4000+

3200+ and good ram will kick the 4000's ass (you can reach 150% of 4000+'s speed with good ram easily)

I am wondering why it is so crappy? What core are you talking about for it? The one I am getting is the San Diego core and are you talking about a stock 4000+ vs a OCed 3200+?

They're obviously talking about an overclocked 3200+, a stock 3200+ wouldn't hold a chance against a 4000+.

I don't know why they consider the 4000+ such a bad choice, it's the best price/performance ratio high end single threaded AMD processor out right now. I guess they're refering the Clawhammer, and you have explicitly said you are getting a San Diego, which is a Venice is 1MB L2 cache.

A 3200+ overclocked might be able to match a 4000+, but it doesn't have anything on a 4000+ San Diego tweaked a bit.

The 4000 San Diego owns the 3200. The clawhammers problem is its an 130nm. But not anymore. I think people are taking the "cheaper can be better to far here".

I am going to be shaking when I get it, well one week, a week and a half tops and I should have all this stuff ready to put together.
