And no, for what you want, a 6800GT will not give any significant boost. The 6600GT I listed is the fastest clocked one on newegg.

id bump the hdd down to 160 or 120, a SATA will work on SATA II
the 6800gt is worth it imho, but the 6600gt is a kickass value card. always get eVGA video cards,
also how's this for psu+case?

Umm that case is not so good because thermaltake power supplys are not good. PCP&W is the best and if you cant afford that get antec.

ummm, no.
TT psus are just fine. im running OCed 3500+ 6800gt hdd, sound blaster, cdrw + 5 fans off of a 420w one right now.
haven't had a single power issue yet.
just dont get the black xaser V with window, ***** weighs a ton.
