when you have someone buiuld a comp for you they always rip you off, they also need to get a profit from it, that's why building a comp yourself is the best solution

Thank you so much for the suggestion! Im definitely buying my parts now and im gonna have my friend build it for me. Can you tell me what the difference between AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Processor (Venice) Socket 939 Retail ***Free 2nd Day*** and AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Processor Socket 939 Retail ***Free 2nd Day***. Are these all the parts i need to build a computer? what about the heatsink? fans? powersupply?
I also have a few questions about compatibility. How do you know if a mobo fits in a case. how do you know if a hard drive will work with a computer? How do you know if RAM will work on your mobo?(besides that you need to know if it's PC3200) and For the processor you showed me it said FSB: Integrated into Chip , does that mean that any FSB will work for the CPU? That DFI mobo has 2 PCIe's does that mean it's SLI and if not what would you use the second one for???

ATX mobo fits in an ATX case, everything is ATX or mATX these days, usless your buying AT dont worry about it.

how about fans, heatsinks and a PSU? will i need them also?

fan/hs comes with the retail box of the amd cpu

you will need a new psu

an OCZ modstream 450W is minimal

i'd suggest a powerstream 450W//modstream 500W

this is a much better build (similar though) than AB0's:

Retail AMD64 3200+Venice
DFI lanparty ultra-d
eVGA/leadtek 6600gt pci-e
1gb twinMOS ram (2*512)
NEC 3510A
Seagate 7200.8 200gb SATA HDD
or 2xSeagate 80gb SATA HDD in RAID 0
anycase
OCZ modstream/powerstream/fortron blue storm
