After some thought and consideration here is what I am going to go with, I decided to stay with the 4000+ even though DiabloII suggested against it. Also I kept the heatsink because they didnt have the other one, the 7700. Though I might just look somewhere else do disregard that and imagine the 7700 there. Everything else though looks good I believe.

personally i would go with g-skill pc4400 ram and a 3500+ and either a venus 12, or the zalman, better to wait for quality then rush into crap :)
also what video cards are those? 6800gts? and hes right, fan controller is only necessary if you have a really noisy fan like the tornado or a ton of fans, besides the fact that Hardcanos pwn ass for fan controllers

Well, fx-55's are probly out of his price range, but the 4000+ and the fx53 have similar prices.

1.) you don't have 2 cards, so why SLI?
2.) i'm begging you! :D the 4000+ is 2.4ghz, while the 3200+ is 2.0ghz, all you gotta do is get the 3200+, let it burn in for a while, and you can just push the fsb up 40mhz and achieve 4000+ speeds, not to mention the 3200+ runs cooler

I do have 2 cards and the FX-53 is ~200 more, a little out of my price range because I am already a couple hundered over. And I have 4 fans in my case and it helps to be able to turn them down at night or up for gaming and more intensive playing.

That Zalman isnt compatable with the DFI LanParty motherboard for socket 939, matter of fact it isnt compatable with any 939 DFI motherboard.

Is he still planning on geting the crappy Asus Mobo?

Im also just saying, get decent ram and a 3200+ whinchester, it will be better than the 4000+ and cheaper
