Hi,

I uploaded some files from a Psion Netbook using a CF card and card reader. Then I used the Psion conversion software and converted a file. When I try to open it, however, I get the message ''Can not load Word for Windows 6.0 files.''

Someone on another forum said it sounded like I had neglected to install something from the windows software. The problem is the laptop I'm using, a JVC interlink subnotebook, came with the software already installed and I don't think the included CD's are in English.

To be honest, I don't understand what the error message means. I have only been using Windows for a couple of months.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Michael McColl

Which version?

Thanks for the reply.

I was looking at Amazon at the versions/upgrades available and it gets a bit confusing.

I have Windows XP pro. Which version or upgrade would I likely need?

Thanks, Mike

97 (not recommended), 2000, xp, or 2003 would all work. prolly best to go witht he lastest and greatest, 2003.

only buy an upgrade version if you have a previous version installed.
