xp90c on abit av8-3rd eye

[U-Toast]

Ok, iv got problems. I bought an xp90c to use on my pc: abit av8 3rdeye + amd 3500+ 130nm

So, i take pc apart, and take off hte stock RM. Then i take the one they provide, and find out it BARELY fits onto mobo. To be able to screw it in, i need to push it against the capacitors above the NB. This scares me, so i dunno wat to do.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

if it doesnt fit you are pretty much screwed.

make sure you are following the instructions on how to put it in. maybe you have the instructions upsidedown.
