i dont know if it is normal for my computer temperature to be 55-65 degrees celcius. it was running at 140degrees F this morning. is there a way for better airflow and cooling down my computer?

Re:

Hello,

That does seem pretty high...but vitally, what processor do you have, and what thermal solutions are being used?

im using a HP desktop. and it uses a AMD athlon 3200+ processor. and the case has 1 8cm fan in the back. hrm.. would buying a new cpu fan decrease the temp? and if i do buy a new cpu fan would i have to buy thermal compound too?

Well honesly Athlon (XP's) run hot like that

Yeah you can drop yoru temps, but it's a cheap processor and not worth it IMO

Yes I agree. Coming from an Athlon 3000+ system myself, I know what you are experiencing. They're normal temps and I wouldn't worry about it. Well within operating range.
