laptop color

I just formated my hard drive on my 360ed IBM laptop and reinstalled ME and now the color is horrible.what do I need to do to get the color back.I only have 16 colors right now and had 256 before.thanks ,rod

you need to install the correct driver for your graphics card - im sure IBM will have it on their website

Drivers need to be installed silly.



Driver: Software that interfaces between your operating system and a particular piece of hardware, such as your video card or sound card, to allow that piece of hardware to function within the computer system. Drivers are provided by the manufacturer of the piece of hardware and are usually downloadable for free from the manufacturer's website. New drivers can include performance improvements, bug fixes, and other changes crucial for the proper operation of that device

And while you are there it is probably worth getting hold of drivers for everything else too, soundcard etc...

i thought a laptop would have at least 16,000 colors, not 256 at the least...im runnin at 32,000 right now
