That is basically my system (I got a 6800 though) and I can play half life 2 maxed settings, 4x aa, 8x af with a extremly smooth frame rate through out the game.

It is really worth building your own pc, you save loads, and get the parts that you want, you will also gain priceless experience of pc's, and look back and laugh at the thought of buying a pc ready built.

That's a decent system; make sure it's skt 939
if what your taling about is the [939-pin] AMD® Athlon-64 3000+
whats the difference between that and the non 939 pin one?

Also, if i order an nvidia video card from ibuypower how do i i know what company it is from?

it should tell u on the page where u assemble it. click on the "more info" button. meh, just looked, they dont ell u. well, thats a crap setup.

939 CPUs have dual channel RAM, some other features, and better overall performance than the 754 models.

hm... when i choose the integrated video card(which probably cost like $10 dollars or something), it says 6600GT +$234. Ok, so i go to newegg to see the prices for it and here is the list for the AGP version of the 6600GT http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...ice=&MaxPrice=&SubCategory=48&Submit=Property
as you can see even the highest priced one isn't even $230, do you think they're ripping me off or is this the real price because the PCIe ones are around $230.
