cmos password lost!!!

how do i get around the cmos password is there another way besides pulling the battery or shorting the jumpers??

Not really, that is pretty much the two ways I know of.

Just reset cmos, pretty much all you can do. (make sure you remember what you did for overclocked settings if you have overclocked, as you will lose it.

Flashing the bios should do clear the pssword as well, but it is easier to reset cmos.

Leave the battery out overnight. See if that does it.

There might be a special password that can be entered to get into it. Like the one on the Xbox that gets you past parental controls when you forget the password you did put in.
