However being an old HD it is unlikely to be SATA so if he has a PATA slot on his mobo then his old drive will be fine - most SATA motherboards have PATA slots on them.

OP OP T Todd0 In Runtime Messages 417 May 4, 2005 #6 Yeh it does have PATA slots, i've just alwasys called them IDE slots, so i got confused
