Is there any software available which can track the temperature of a CPU after a system crash?

My computer has been freezing for over 6 months now and I've replaced every single part available but it still does it.

I'd like to know if there is any software available that will tell me what my temperature was during the freezing when I next boot my comp up?

The BIOS isn't reporting high temperatures but I'd like to be 100% sure.

Thanks

Hi Shrimp, you could try SpeedFan (http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php).

To enable CPU logging, Click on Configure, and on the first tab (Temperatures), click on CPU. At the bottom of the window, you will see a "Logged" checkbox. Check this. Then Click on the "Log" Tab, and check "Enabled". Then Click OK, and restart the program for good measure. Then next time your computer crashes, you can check the log for the last temperature it recorded ;P

The logs are store in the same directory that SpeedFan was installed to.

Hope this helps!

Thank you. The temperature was 41 at crash point so I can rule that out. I'm totally stumped on this one.
