Address bar freezes in Internet Explorer

I get this problem everytime I surf in internet explorer. The address bar will randomly freeze so I can no longer type in the address. I try disabling the address bar then enabling it but it's still frozen. The only solution is restarting Internet Explorer and wait until it happens again.

few ways to fix this

1. re install IE
2. use firefox or opera
3. run adware personal, spyware, hijack this
4. find out if there is a program taking up alot of CPU

tell me which one u want to try out and ill explain how

I have tried all of those. My laptop is a Celeron D 2.8ghz 768mb ram 40gb hard drive.
