it may be better for the average user doing the kinds of things your talking about, which, quite honestly in the graphics world arent anything to tough to do, but in the high end market when it comes to the real serious work that pays big bucks, Apple aint all that, they have about a 3-4% market share in the US, less worldwide
alot of this got started way back when, when apple first hit the scene and they were better, and lots of them got used for work in prepress and graphic design, and people stuck with them, and the myth became legend LOL, nowadays, meh, im not buying it
Ive got both a video studio and a print shop for clients that does both prepress and production work, they use whatever tool they need to get the job done, period, and it sure as heck isnt all Apple, they have both, but its mostly pc's
