Hey my mouse has started double clicking when only clicked once. I was wondering is the mouse broke (it is like 3 years old) or is it something to do with the OS? When I checked in the control panel it says that the mouse is working properly so which is it?

Well your mouse drivers could be messed up, try reinstalling them. Anyway, that's probably not it. Old mice can get sticky or just plain broken. Three years is a pretty long time. I'd just get a new one, they're like $10 for basic ones and maybe $30 for sweet wireless ones. I would doubt it's your OS until you try a different mouse.

Where is it double clicking itself? Everywhere, or only at some parts, like on icons on the desktop?

its not always doing it just sometimes. Its most noticeable and annoying when your moving around folders and images, it will work fine for a few clicks then it may click the back button 3 times instead of 1. Its also very annoying playing spider solitaire, it lets go of the cards and things like that.
