I remember when Alienware first debuted, I priced one out on the website. I wa a senior in HS, so this was about 3 years ago. It came to $32,000. No joke, thats exactly what it came to. Well, 32 something. I bet if I had those same components now, it would easily be less than $1500.
 
Thats just technology man. Once something better comes out, the next best thing becomes more and more useless.
