it's cheap but i'm not sure about its quality



can anyone tell more about this tuner? How is this chipset compared with Philips 7130? thanks.

Not always,ive got a used hauppaugge tuner card I paid $20 for shipped,and it works great.

Biggest issue with tuner cards is drivers and software, usually they ship with both, and usually it works fine,but the software isnt always all that great.For example with mine, recording video with the stick software sucked, but the open source apps for it worked very very well.

either one of those chipsets will work ok

Haha...you often don't "get what you pay for." There are definitely many times where you can get more "bang" than you pay for. More often, especially in traditional retail, you get less "bang" than you pay for.

The key is to be a saavy consumer. "You get what you pay for" is just as often true as it is not.
