set battery/power use of laptop

is there a setting to use so that when batteries reach 100% charged it will switch to batteries, and switch back to wall socket power when it reaches like 25%?
the Laptop I have is a Dell Inspiron 2650 - customised to include burner

are you worried the battery will become overcharged? there probably is some circuitry in there that prevents an overcharge. it would do this automatically like you described i would think.

no, I'm not worried about that it would just save power if it kept switching between the 2
