Please help!

I want to get a graphics card that will not limit me on any of the newer games. I am getting it with a whole computer and am having trouble deciding between the geforce 6600 256mb and the 6600gt 128mb. Which one is better? Also, is the better of these two able to run any game without gameplay problems? If you want to suggest another card thats fine, but I can't get much more expensive than these.

i am in accord with these two gentlemen. The 6600GT as it were is quite possibly the greatest budget card e'er. Purchase it ere it is past due.

yeh, no denying it, the memory makes it heaps faster, 1.6ns compared to 3.6 or 4.0 also the clocks are higher than the 6600 anyway, so even if they used the same memory, the GT would be better.

Def the 6600GT, i love mine. I mean look at this water pic i took in Deer Hunter 2005:

im sure people can get a bit nicer then that, but thats with my 6600GT on all high settings.
