You could have never gotten the x600 pro either as it wouldnt fit your PC, it's PCI-E.

Hi, me again!

I was just wondering can you tell from the earlier screen shot if i am using a 4X AGP motherboard or an 8X AGP motherboard?

The 6600GT ive just bought is 8X right? IF i have a 4X motherboard, wont that greatly affect its performance?

Nope it wont affect the peformance at all, if you want you can search a thread where I compared 4x and 8x AGP on the 6600GT with 3dmark.

Today's high end cards are not even very limited by 4x, and the mid end cards (6600GT) are not limited at all

From that screen shot, it should have shown what AGP interface speed you had. If you plug an 8X card into a 4X slot, you shouldnt notice a performance decrease.

Next on my shopping list will probably be a new mobo and possibly another HDD, but that can wait till after i get paid
