Ok,

I'm hoping for a long shot here. I want to take a KVM switch hookup 2 monitors to the KVM (using a VGA splitter) and switch back and forth between the computers and have dual monitors on both.

I think it can be done, since a KVM switch is basically just a junction box, it shouldn't make a difference.

If both computers have two video outputs then you'll need 2 KVM switches.

Well, One of my computers has just a DVI output and I hooked up a DVI(1 output,1 video card) to VGA(2 outputs, 2 monitors) adaptor and it acted like it had 2 video cards in it.

I believe Belkin makes a dual monitor KVM.
