I never ceased to be amazed at how GPU dependent the 03 and 05 tests are. Before I returned the 6600GT, my scores were:

on the following system:

CPU- AMD Athlon XP 2500+
RAM- 512 MB Corsair XMS
Motherboard- Asus A7N8X-X
Video Card- PNY GeForce 6600GT

...all stock.

At the very least just make sure you got good cooling, click the 'Find optimal frequencies' run 3dmark05 with rivatuner hardware monitor running in the background, if it doesn't artifact you're good to go, once you exit out, you can see how high your temps got during the whole bench process using rivatuner, if it's OC'd and never goes beyond 85C full load, you're in pretty good shape really as a lot will get that hot on stock settings

3dmark05 - 5,445. At least I got that score after OCing my 3200+ to 3400+ speeds.
