Then the problem is your MOTHERBOARD. I would suggest that you contact the Vendor (place you baught it) of your board and ask for a replacement. You will have to get an RMA and then send then the board and wait until the replacement comes.
Bad news is still bad news...
 
I actually use mine pretty regular to back up my Address book, Internet Explorer Favorites and my Money 2003 Files just to name a few.;)
 
With regret, the answer is "No". I have disconnected and reconnected the multi-way connector to the motherboard A7N8X in the hope that there was, perhaps, a dirty connection, but nothing changed. I asked for registry details but no-one has been forthcoming.
