Is my Monitor on the way out?

So i start my computer with no problems and everything is like it should be. I surf the net then have a game of BFV. I leave my computer and monitor on and decide to clean up my apartment. 2 hours later i sit back down at my computer and the colour on the monitor is much darker then the last time i used my computer. I try to fix the settings with no luck. Reds look black and blue looks grey. Can anyone tell me what happened? I can't believe my monitor is on the way out i've only had it for just over 2 years. BTW it's a Philips 107T4. I hope the warranty is still good.

It may not be on the way out. Some monitors do not like being left on standby for long periods of time and colours/contrast can become distorted. First I would try switching the PC and VDU off then leaving it for a few hours, then go back to it.

If the problem still persists then yes, I would say there is a problem with your VDU.
